Mission:
The mission of Hawthorne Elementary’s School Counseling program is to provide students with a positive school climate that cultivates acceptance, empathy, and perseverance through school wide activities, classroom instruction, small group counseling, and individual counseling.
Vision:
The vision of Hawthorne Elementary’s School Counseling program is to help develop students who are Safe, Organized, Accountable, and Respectful as they reach academic success, social-emotional growth, and will become college and career ready. Students will be empowered to reach their maximum potential and will gain the necessary skills to become lifelong learners that sustain personal growth and contribute to society with compassion and pride in an ever-changing world.
